Hidden treasure

Years ago Roy's dad gave us a rose bush. We planted it and to be honest it has done nothing until now. I was hanging out washing, turned and saw hidden between the Budlea and the Russian Vine the most beautiful blooms. I wanted to share this treasure .

Pool

We decided we needed to sort out paddling pool while grandchildren are away camping. Roy cleaned it thoroughly and lifted it up to drain out water. I managed to snap this photo without him knowing. A definite layout in the making .

Graduation

It's hard to believe Morgan has finished her first year at school. They had a graduation ceremony where their names were called and they stood on steps, shook hands with the teacher and received a certificate. It was very grown up. They also were given the book they had been making on Olympic Games. They had worked on them for weeks. But this is going to make a great scrapbook layout. It started to rain and they became excellent umbrellas !

British summer

Can you believe more rain. I look at all the cool summer titles and embellishments and then out of the window and ask myself what's the point? Just as the thunder crashes overhead. Please can we have some sun!
